Warranty period is 1 year. Includes parts, labor and travel.
Initial troubleshooting is by phone.
Major repairs done by service technician.
Extended Warranty - Same conditions as first year warranty.
Installation - Done on site by a service engineer
How frequently should controls be run?

At least once per week.
Must I run different controls for each species?

No.
What is the sample size?

Less than 500µL for a full profile.
Are there veterinary values for each species?

Yes. Dog and Cat are pre-programmed. Other species can be programmed as needed.
Can you do Walk-Away testing?

Yes.
Is there STAT Interrupt?

Yes.
What is the shelf life of reagents?

6 months unopened. 20 to 30 days on-board.
What is the shelf life of controls?

6 months unopened. 10 days opened.
When is calibration done?

As needed. There is auto calibration for electrolytes.
Is there daily or weekly maintenance?

It is minimal. Simply wipe clean.
What is the cost per test?

25¢ depending on volume.
How long does it take to run a chemistry panel?

Hands on time is a few seconds to drop in a specimen. Test time is 30 seconds to 6 minutes.
Will the ACE or NEXCT interface with Schuylab Laboratory Information System?

Yes, however the Vet ACE and the VetEx will not. A veterinarian who wants an LIS should get the ACE or the NEXCT for humans, then install the Schuylab LIS, which allows for all the veterinary parameters such as species, owner, and three sexes.
